A family app should fit around your household, not the other way around. In Petal Home, parents hold the reins. You choose who sees what, you decide how much each child can do, and you can change any of it whenever you like. Nothing is out of your hands.

Set what every family member can see and do, person by person. Hide what is not for them, let them view some things, and give edit access where you are happy to. It is your call, for each child.

Information is encrypted in transit and passwords are securely hashed, so no one, including us, can read them.
Built with children in mind
Looking after younger users shapes how Petal Home is built: parents set up or approve a child's account, per-child permission controls decide what each one sees, location stays off unless it is switched on with permission, and we keep data collection to the minimum needed to run Petal Home. These measures reflect the principles of the ICO's Age Appropriate Design Code.

Can I control what my child can see?
Yes. Parents choose what each person in the household can see and do, from the little ones to the teens. You are always in control.
Can I change a child's access as they grow?
Yes. Petal Home grows with your child. You can give a little more access as they get older, and adjust it at any time, exactly how you wish.
Who can set up the household and the subscription?
Only a grown-up aged 18 or over can create a household and take out the subscription. Younger members join a household a parent or guardian has already set up.
Does Petal Home show adverts or track my family?
No. Petal Home has no adverts and no ad tracking, and never sells your information. Things you keep private stay just for you.
Is our information kept safe?
Yes. Information is encrypted while it travels to and from your device, passwords are securely hashed so no one can read them, and we only collect what we actually need to run Petal Home.
