• Ask if it has been repaired or changed

Cot

• Check it meets current safety standards
• Check no fittings are missing
• Check the sides are secure

Pushchair

• Test the brakes
• Test the harness
• Test the folding and locks
• Check the wheels are secure

High chair

• Check the safety harness
• Check it stands firm
• Test the tray lock
