Every day

• Make the beds
• Wash up or load the dishwasher
• Wipe the kitchen surfaces
• Quick tidy of the living room
• Sweep the kitchen floor
• Take out the rubbish if it is full
• Put dirty clothes in the laundry basket

Once a week

• Hoover all the floors
• Mop the kitchen and bathroom floors
• Clean the toilets
• Clean the shower or bath
• Change the bed sheets
• Wash the towels
• Dust the surfaces
• Clean the mirrors
• Empty all the bins
• Clear old food out of the fridge
• Wipe door handles and light switches

Once a month

• Clean the oven
• Clean inside the microwave
• Wipe the skirting boards
• Clean the windows
• Wash cushion covers and throws
• Tidy a cupboard or drawer
• Descale the kettle
• Clean the washing machine
