Why we're building Petal Home

Family plans can end up scattered: school dates in one calendar, shopping in another app, reminders somewhere else. We wanted one place for the things a household needs to coordinate, while still working with the calendars people already use and keeping private things private.

What we care about

• Share what needs sharing. Keep the rest private. Plans, lists, reminders, bills, countdowns and household info can be for the household or just for you.
• One price for the household. One Premium subscription covers everyone, so nobody pays per person.
• Clear about what's free. There's a free version with the everyday basics, and we say plainly what Premium adds.
• No adverts. We never sell your information.
• We plan to launch on iPhone and Android together.
• Clear about what works now. Our Help guides explain what each feature does and where its limits are.
