- Check passports have six months left
- Visas or travel permits
- Driving licence
- Travel insurance policy and phone number
- GHIC or EHIC card
- Booking confirmations
- Copies of passports saved on your phone
- Bank card that works abroad
- Tell your bank you are travelling
- Some local cash
- Note the emergency number to cancel cards
- Check vaccinations needed for where you are going
- Repeat prescriptions ordered in time
- Medicines in original packaging
- Consent letter if one parent travels alone with the children
- Birth certificates if surnames differ
