Help guide Premium
Connect your Apple Calendar (iPhone and iPad)
Petal Home can sync with the calendars on your iPhone or iPad, including iCloud and any accounts added to the Calendar app on your device.
Before you start
- Connecting calendars is part of Premium. On the free plan, Import a calendar shows a padlock and tapping it explains what Premium includes.
- Apple Calendar is on iPhone and iPad only. On Android, connect Google or Outlook instead.
- You need to be able to edit the Plan. If you can only view it, these options don't show.
Step by step
Open the Plan tab and tap the round ⋯ button at the top right (More options). This opens Calendar options. Tap Import a calendar.
Under Keep in sync, tap Connect on Apple Calendar.
Allow full access to your calendars when your iPhone asks.
Tick the calendars you want, choose Private or Household under Sync into, then tap Connect now.
Good to know
- It syncs through your device, so changes made elsewhere reach the Calendar app on your device when you next open Petal Home.
- If a Google or Outlook account is also signed in on your phone, its events could arrive twice. Choose one route.
- On a device, you can connect Apple Calendar to one household at a time.
If it's not working
- If you see "Calendar access is off", go to your iPhone Settings, then Petal Home, then Calendars, turn on full access, and try again.
