Free and Premium, and how to cancel

Petal Home is free to use. Premium adds more, and one payment covers your whole household. The App Store or Google Play shows the price, and any free trial, before you pay.

What's free

The shared calendar and sharing it out, reminders, the shopping list, household info, 3 household lists plus 2 private lists each, one planned meal a day, 5 saved recipes, 3 recipe collections and 2 shops to sort your shopping by.

What Premium adds

• Bring in Google, Outlook or Apple calendars (on Android, Google or Outlook), calendar links and Import once.
• Filter the calendar by person, and custom colours.
• Create your own calendars and shopping categories.
• Countdowns.
• Outgoings (Bills in the US) and bill reminders.
• Prices, budgets and people on lists.
• Import recipes from a link, and a whole week's ingredients in one tap.
• More households of your own.
• Unlimited lists and shops, more meals a day, more saved recipes and collections.

Who it covers

One payment gives Premium to everyone in every household the payer belongs to, including households they created themselves. Only an adult can buy Premium.

How to cancel

The person who pays can go to Settings, then Petal Home Premium, then Cancel or change your plan. On iPhone this opens Apple's subscription screen. On Android it opens Google Play's. You can also cancel in your iPhone's Settings, or in Google Play under Subscriptions. Deleting the app doesn't cancel a subscription.

If Premium ends

Premium stays on until the end of the time you've paid for. After that, nothing is deleted:

• Calendar syncing pauses, and everything already in your calendar stays as it is. Calendar links stop refreshing.
• Outgoings and Countdowns lock. You can still see what's in them, but not change it, and bill reminders stop.
• Your newest 3 household lists and newest 2 private lists stay editable. Other lists, and lists using budgets, prices or people, become read-only.
• If you subscribe again, those Premium features become available again.
