Help guide Premium
Connect your Google Calendar
Connect your Google account once, choose the calendars, and they stay in sync with Petal Home both ways.
Before you start
- Connecting calendars is part of Premium. On the free plan, Import a calendar shows a padlock and tapping it explains what Premium includes.
- You can connect one of Google, Outlook or Apple at a time.
- You need to be able to edit the Plan. If you can only view it, these options don't show.
Step by step
Open the Plan tab and tap the round ⋯ button at the top right (More options). This opens Calendar options. Tap Import a calendar.
Under Keep in sync, tap Connect on Google Calendar.
Sign in to Google and allow access to your calendar.
On Choose calendars to sync, tick the calendars you want.
Under Sync into, choose Private or Household (Household is for admins), then tap Connect now.
Petal Home adds a Petal Home calendar in Google for the events you make in Petal Home.
If it's not working
- "Google didn't give us lasting access": Petal Home is already connected to that Google account. Remove it at myaccount.google.com, under Your connections, then try again.
- "That Google account is already connected to another Petal account": a Google account can be linked to one Petal account only.
- If Outlook is already connected, disconnect it first.
