Country, week start and measurements
Your country sets the day your week starts, temperatures, date order and spelling. You can also choose how recipe measurements are shown.
Open Personalise
On Home, tap the round Settings button at the top right, then Personalise.
Choose your country
Tap Country and pick yours: United Kingdom, Ireland, United States, Australia, Canada or New Zealand. Each one shows what it sets, for example GBP, °C, weeks start Monday.
In the UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand weeks start on Monday. In the US and Canada they start on Sunday.
Choose your measurements
Tap Measurements and pick Metric (g, ml), Imperial (oz, lb) or As written for recipes.
Set your family size
Tap Family size and choose how many people, from 1 to 5 or Custom…, so recipes open with the right number of servings. Off uses each recipe's own size. It's just for you, not shared.
Good to know
- If Petal Home thinks you're somewhere else, you may see Looks like you're in… on Home. Tap Switch to change, or No thanks.
- The week start comes from your country, so there isn't a separate setting for it.
- Changing country doesn't change the currency your household already uses.
- Country also sets wind speed and date order.
