Get started with Petal Home

Sign up, then either create a household or join one you've been invited to.

Step by step

1. Download Petal Home and tap Sign up. (Already have an account? Tap Log in.)

2. Choose Sign up with Apple (iPhone and iPad), Sign up with Google or Sign up with email.

3. Answer the short questions: your details (email sign-up only), When were you born?, Where are you? and One last thing, where you agree to the Terms. Then tap Create account.

4. Signed up with email? You'll see Check your email. Tap the link in the email, then I've confirmed my email.

5. On Welcome to Petal Home, tap Have a look around.

6. On Set up your family, either type a Family name and tap Create family & become admin, or type the code you were sent in Family code and tap Join with code.

What happens next

If you created a household, Home opens with a short tour (Take a tour) and two starter lists. If you joined one, an admin of that family needs to accept you first. See Invite family to your household.

Adding people without a phone

An admin can add someone who won't have their own login, such as a young child: Settings, then Members, then Add someone without a login. They can be given things to do, but don't see the app themselves.
